From May 25 to May 26, the region experienced significant weather events, including rounds of heavy rain and severe thunderstorms, leading to localized flash flooding and storm damage. Each day during this period, different locations were impacted by intense weather conditions, with recurrent heavy rainfall causing flash floods that resulted in temporary disruptions and potential damage. On May 26, a line of severe storms moved across the area on Sunday afternoon and evening, notable for their strong winds, which resulted in numerous downed trees and power outages. The severe weather caused significant disruptions, with local authorities and emergency services actively responding to incidents of flash flooding and storm damage, particularly focusing on clearing downed trees and restoring power to affected areas.
